    ONE PAN JAMBALAYA

    INGREDIENTS:

    1.5 pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs
    cut into small cubes
    1 package sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
    3 stalks of celery, chopped.
    1 yellow onion, chopped.
    1 green bell pepper, chopped.
    1 – 15 ounce can diced tomatoes
    1 cup white rice
    2 cups water or chicken broth
    1 tablespoon each of garlic powder, onion
    powder and paprika.
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    DIRECTIONS:

    In a Dutch oven, cook your
    chicken thighs and sausages in
    a little bit of neutral oil. Add in
    all your vegetables, tomatoes
    and rice. Next add in your
    water or broth. Season with
    your spices. Mix well to
    combine. Cover and let simmer
    on medium heat for 45 minutes
    until your rice is fully cooked
    through. This is a complete one
    pot meal. Enjoy!
