    FINEST CHEF: APPLE CRUNCH SALAD

    Ingredients:
    Apple Crunch
    2 Red Delicious apples
    2 Golden Delicious apples
    2 Granny Smith apples
    4 seedless oranges, peeled and diced
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained

    Topping:
    1 cups crispy rice cereal
    1/2 cup old fashioned oats
    1/4 cup honey
    1 T canola oil
    2 T water
    dash of cinnamon, sprinkle of coconut

    Sauce:
    1 pound fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
    1/3 cup orange juice
    1 cap vanilla extract
    sweetener to taste

    Directions
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the topping ingredients in a
    pan. Bake for 25 minutes, until toasty. Stir occasionally.Cool.

    Puree strawberries, orange juice and sweetener in the blender.

    To make the salad, slice or dice peeled or unpeeled apples (as
    preferred). Toss the apples with oranges & pineapple in a large
    serving bowl. Sprinkle with the nut crunch and spoon strawberry sauce
    over the top. Or you can serve the toppings on the side.
