How would you describe your 2013 All Star game experience? Amazing, just Amazing. Tuesday night was the best moment of my career outside of winning my five World Series rings.

Favorite Baseball World Series: The 2009 World Series. The reason I say that is because my family was able to travel with me, since we were playing here and in Philly. My kids (three sons, now 19, 16 and 10) were old enough to enjoy it. The other ones, when we won, they were small.

What’s it like when you have the ball and you’re one strike away from finishing off a big game? What are the emotions like? Well, you have to hold it there. Emotions, you cannot be caught (up) in the emotions. Because you can lose the game with that emotion. When I get the ball, I don’t let the emotions take over. I celebrate when the game is over.

How do you get over bad outings, especially blown saves? Just like that. It’s hard, definitely. You just put it the way it is. It happens, a blown save, it happens. You just move on.

How do you think your career would have turned out if you had remained a starter? I don’t know. What do you have written under the brim of your cap? “God Bless” – that’s it.
