
08 Jul OMA’S FAMOUS PANCAKES
INGREDIENTS:
7 eggs
2 cups of flour
1/4 cup of sugar
1 and 1/4 cup of
milk
DIRECTIONS:
No they’re not fluffy pancakes… They’re
kinda like a mix between a crepe and
blintz. But they’re so special and reminds
us of our dearly beloved Oma. The only
living relative who knows how to make
them is my uncle so he hosted us all this
week to teach us the recipe and how to
make it. I know my Oma is smiling down
from heaven watching us.
Whisk until batter is smooth. Butter a
frying pan and pour the liquid thinning in
a circle. Then fry for about 2 minutes
each side. Oma liked to put jelly in them
and then roll them up and eat them
I like to eat them with maple syrup like
regular pancakes.
