    PESACH GRANOLA

    INGREDIENTS

3 1/4 cups of matza farfel – you can use whole wheat

    1/2 cup oil

    1/2 cup brown sugar

    1/4 cup margarine

    1/2 cup water

1/2 cup chopped nuts –whatever you prefer – almonds, pecans, walnuts

    1 tsp cinnamon

Optional mix ins: raisins, craisins, coconut, chopped dried fruit to taste

    DIRECTIONS:

If you are anything like my family, then you don’t love the commercial pesach cereal. I make a couple of batches of this pesach granola and the family eats it for breakfast with milk or on top of yogurt with some fresh berries. You can make it several days ahead and store in containers. Easy to double, triple or quadruple…

Melt margarine, with water, oil and brown sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Spread on parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Mix occasionally to prevent burning.
