    SPECIAL BEFORE/AFTER YOM KIPPUR RECIPES!

    ONE PAN, HONEY, LEMON,
    CHICKEN, AND POTATOES

    INGREDIENTS:

    6 chicken thighs
    6 chicken legs
    1/3 cup olive oil
    Juice of 1 lemon
    3 tsp honey
    1 tsp each garlic, paprika,
    salt and pepper

    DIRECTIONS:

    Whisk marinade together and pour over chicken. Let marinate
    2 hrs or up to overnight in the fridge On a cookie sheet Dice 4
    Yukon gold potatoes and coat with olive oil, salt and pepper.
    Add 8-10 garlic cloves and a couple sprigs of fresh thyme. Lay
    your chicken pieces on top and add any remaining marinade.
    Slice a couple lemons and place them in between the chicken
    pieces. Cover with a wet parchment and tin foil. Bake in a 350
    oven for 1.5 hours. Then uncover for 30 minutes. Enjoy!

    FLANKEN

    INGREDIENTS:

    3 lb. flanken beef-short ribs 
    1/4 c. reduced-sodium soy
    sauce
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp garlic
    1 tbsp sesame oil

    DIRECTIONS:

    This incredibly delicious recipe takes ve minutes to prepare!
    You know me, I’m all about easy prep with quality simple
    ingredients to make delicious food. Put your meat in a baking
    pan. Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over your meat.
    Cover tightly and put in a 350° oven for 3 to 3.5 hours. The
    meat is so tender and avorful. It falls o the bone.

    HOMEMADE RAVIOLI

    INGREDIENTS:

    2 cups all-purpose flour,

    2 cups all-purpose flour,
    plus more for dusting
    1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
    3 eggs, plus 1 for the egg
    wash
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    Ravioli filling of your choice
    (ricotta cheese mixed with
    an egg, salt, pepper and
    basil is delicious)

    DIRECTIONS:

    In a large bowl whisk together the our and salt. Make a well in the center of the our and add in the eggs all at once.
    Mix them together well using your hands. Add the olive oil and knead the dough for 5 minutes. Form into a ball and
    leave in the bowl, covered with plastic wrap for 30 minutes. Take a small piece of the dough and either run it through
    a pasta machine a few times OR use a rolling pin, some our and a considerable amount of muscle to create a thin
    sheet. Cut circles out of the dough using a cookie cutter or a glass. Place 1 teaspoon of lling in the center of half the
    circles. Lightly brush egg wash around the edge of the circle. Place the second circle on top over the lling and use
    a fork to crimp the edges all around. Continue with remaining pasta dough until all the dough or lling has been
    used. To cook the pasta, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add ravioli and cook for 2-3 minutes. Once they
    oat to the top it is done. Drain pasta and toss with olive oil or sauce.

    NO BAKE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

    INGREDIENTS:

    2 cups crushed graham crackers
    4 tablespoons melted butter
    1 tablespoon sugar
    16 oz chocolate – melted in microwave
    or double boiler
    1/3 c sugar
    12 oz cream cheese – must be room
    temperature
    2 cups heavy cream – whipped
    1/4 cup chocolate liqueur
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    DIRECTIONS:

    This delicious no bake chocolate liqueur cheesecake should definitely be on your menu for Shavuot.
    The best part is you don’t have to turn on the oven! That also means no cracking on the top.
    Mix together crust and press into a 9 inch springform pan going slightly up the sides. Refrigerate while
    preparing the cheesecake.
    Using mixer combine sugar and cream cheese. Add melted chocolate and mix. Add the whipped cream and
    mix until smooth. Add liqueur and vanilla. Mix until blended. Spoon cheesecake batter into the springform
    pan and cover tightly with Saran wrap. Refrigerate overnight. Decorate with shaved chocolate.
