    SPECIAL SUPER BOWL RECIPES:

    POTSTICKERS

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 lb ground chicken
    1 bunch chopped
    scallions
    1/3 cup hoisin sauce
    1 Tbsp soy sauce
    1 Tbsp garlic
    1 tsp ginger
    1 tsp sesame oil
    1 package wonton
    wrappers

    DIRECTIONS:

I love asian flavors and always see all the non
kosher potstickers in the grocery store and
wish they made them in kosher. These are
incredible and so easy to make with little effort.
Combine all ingredients. Take a tsp of the
chicken mixture in the middle of a wonton
wrapper. Fold in half and wet the border with
    water to seal.
In a large frying pan heat 2 Tbsp of oil and add
potstickers till they brown for about 1 minute.
Add 1/2 cup water and cover the pan for 3
minutes. Uncover for 2 more minutes until
    water evaporates. Repeat
    until finished.

    CORN DOGS

    INGREDIENTS:

1 package hot dogs cut into thirds
    1⁄2 cup yellow cornmeal
    7 Tbsp flour
    1⁄2 tsp salt
    1⁄2 tsp baking powder
    1⁄2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1⁄2 cup soy or rice milk
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 Tbsp honey
    vegetable oil for deep frying
    wooden sticks

    DIRECTIONS:

Who doesn’t love a corn dog – or for that matter anything you eat on a stick and is fried!
Not the healthiest but once in a while a delicious treat. These are great for game day. I
prefer to make them mini but you can make them full size.
1.Heat oil to 375 degrees. Oil should be 2-3 inches deep.
2.Cut hot dogs into thirds. Stick a small wooden stick in each hot dog.
3.Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl. 4.Combine soy milk, egg and honey.
    5. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and whisk until well blended.
    6. Pat hot dogs dry with a paper towel. 7.Dip each hot dog in batter and gently lay in the hot oil. Do them in small batches as to
not lower the temperature of the oil. 8. Fry for about 3 minutes each until golden brown. Serve warm.

    SPICY WINGS

    INGREDIENTS:

    2 lbs chicken wings –
    cleaned and dried –
    season with salt and
    pepper
    Sauce
    1⁄2 cup sugar
    1⁄2 cup brown sugar
    1⁄4 cup honey
    1/3 cup franks red hot
    sauce

    DIRECTIONS:

These wings are great for the Super Bowl – takes just a few
minutes of prep time and they are ready. You can easily double
the recipe. It can also be used on chicken cutlets to make
poppers – for the cutlets – cut them into bite sized pieces and
coat with egg and bread crumbs before pouring on the sauce –
bake for a much shorter time until chicken is done
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small saucepan mix together all
sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Lay wings on a cookie sheet.
Pour sauce over wings making sure to coat them. Bake in oven for
at least 1 1⁄2 hours turning midway.
The longer you cook them for the better.
    Enjoy!
