Dear Vues Master:
Amazingly the world press has largely ignored the burning of Shuls in Lod and Ramle. 200 rockets shot at Jews in Eretz Yisrael. Shuls burnt to the ground. Yet, the IDF is blamed for defending Israel. Jews will continue to defend themselves regardless of what the UN and the rest of the world thinks. After 2000 years of oppression the Jew has learned that we must stand up for ourselves. May the Almighty restore peace swiftly to Eretz Yisrael!

It’s just laughable. Mayor de Blasio announced a summons blitz which will focus on speeding motorists and those who fail to yield for bicycles and pedestrians. This is because his Speed Limit Zero program hasn’t had any significant effect on pedestrian deaths.

It would seem like Liz Cheney is My friend, a very respected doctor, told me this week that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe for use in pregnancy and all concerns with the vaccine in general are unfounded. He explained that the reason why people think that the vaccine causes fertility issues is because when mRNA technology was originally introduced some decades ago, there were some fertility issues linked to it. However, over ensuing decades the technology has been adapted and there are no more issues.

Vues Master’s Note: Has your friend the Dr studied the long term effects? No, because there is no long term yet. Wait till ten years go by and tell me it is safe. I am not saying not to get vaccinated as it will save you from Covid but there is no one who knows what the ten year long term effects it will have. Maybe it is still worth taking the risk but don’t tell me it is safe when you don’t know it!

The גמטריה of קוגל is 139 and the גמטריה of שבת is 702 way more than 139. The speaker answered back, that this is not a problem, all you have to do is eat more Kugel until it adds up. NO JOKE The יאלוזא םהרבא ’ר תוהגה on the שובל (grandfather of the Chida) writes, אדימסד-אחמק -בלח -שבד (foods eaten on Shavuos) is the Gematria of 613 ( ג”ירת) R.A.A. continues that it is not exactly correct since the Gematria is 614. His solution is, not to eat the whole amount but leave over one so the Gematria will be correct.

Greetings, As a veteran matchmaker,I see first hand the adverse effects with picture postings in getting a yes of either gender prospects.Rabbi David Feinstein ztl mentioned publicly that a person has a natural “chein” that is not portrayed in a picture.There is the “YAD HASHEM”that becomes evident in every shidduch.Pictures cause us to trip over a possible “doable” shidduch. I have interviewed many men overweight ,great persons who may have to diet to lose a few pounds.The negative aspects often dissipate after a meeting.Let us nix the pictures for men and women.

I’ve never written to your paper before, but after reading the article by Rav Efrem Goldberg, I just couldn’t push off writing this letter. (I saved the rest for after I compose this important message). Not only was it well written, and informative, but it was also real, relatable and extremely applicable. Rav Efrems points were crystal clear and brought forth a lot of clarity. We have definitely gotten much better at viewing mental illness with the accuracy it deserves, but I still wonder why some of us still buy the idea that one with mental illness can just “snap out of it,” or “get over it.” As a Jewish community of Chessed, we MUST get properly informed so that we can help our family and friends, and give them respect. No, ignorance is not bliss. It’s our responsibility to use the various resources that are available and educate ourselves about the facts. One such crucial resource for those struggling with mental illness is Chazkeinu Organization. This past week all our hearts and prayers are turned towards Eretz Yisrael. World media slams Israel as the aggressor, when in fact they were the victims of a one-sided assault of over 1,600 missiles fired on its civilians. The headlines were maddening, claiming Israel had started the conflict and calling for restraint. Carona….Meron….and now war. The non-stop drama is taking its toll on our people. But with the dramatic escalation in conflict comes a surge of incredible achdus, unity, amongst Jews all over the world. Rallies in communities, endless social media posts of support, tehillim are shared and recited…. Why oh why can we not come together when times are good? Why does it always take an assault on our very existence? Hashem please……..

After a very difficult week in Eretz Yisrael with bombs coming down and everyone running for shelter there are a few things I have learnt. 1. Be proud to be Jewish and/or Supporter of Israel. There are a lot of haters out there from media, celebrities, social influencers, neighbors, and so many other people who say they are loving to everyone but the Jews. 2. Get involved, it’s not good enough to sit on the sidelines and watch people disparage Israel, your brothers and sisters. Go to protests in the street, call your family and friends in Israel to check in on them, daven for them to be safe. Silence is not an option: know your facts and don’t back down. Find your voice!! There is only 1 Israel, 1 place for Jews to call home. 3. If you’re kids want to get involved make sure they know the history and facts. My kids have taken to defending Israel on social media and are not afraid to question, argue, and defend Israel. Ask and engage your kids, primarily your teenagers what they are seeing online. Don’t think they are not seeing antisemitic and anti Israel messages. Be sure to keep an eye on them to make sure they are representing us in the best light. יח לארשי םע!!!
