SPEAK YOUR VUES WITH THE VUES MASTER

    KOCHI VEOTZEM YADI
    Dear Vues Master:
To what degree should we acknowledge the efforts
of the IDF and Mossad in the successful operation
over the past few days? Obviously, we need to show
hakaras hatov to the Ribono Shel Olam for enabling
their success, but is that to the exclusion of hakaras
hatov to those people who planned and executed the
operation? The famous possuk seems to say that we
should acknowledge our strength, but to remember
that our strength ultimately comes from HaShem.
…וזכרת את ה‘ אלוקך -כי הוא הנותן -לך כח לעשות חיל
it is our strength that’s doing the חיל but it is HaShem
    who gave us that strength.
    GS
Vues Master’s Note: You definitely need hakaras HaTov
to both Hashem and the IDF!

    SAFE HAVEN
    Dear Vues Master:
Should America (and/or Canada, Australia, etc.) offer
Israeli citizens a safe haven, in case the situation
becomes dangerous? We already see Israel has
evacuated Northern Israel due to the ongoing missiles
from Hezbollah and evacuated Southern Israel due to
the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7. And the
ongoing threat from the Houthis in Yemen to, even,
Central Israel and, more precisely, the increasing threat
of direct attack anywhere in Israel by Iran, which has
nuclear weapons, is getting ever more severe. We
mustn’t forget how the world refused entry to Jews
when we were under Nazi threat. The above, of course,
are all physical threats. But far to overlook the spiritual
threats, the Brisker Rosh Yeshiva shlit”a said, already,
even before October 7 that Torah observant Jews may

need to move out of the State due to the secular non-
observant irreligious intolerant State, especially as

ruled by its Torah hating Supreme Court, threatening

to forcibly draft Bnei Yeshiva out of the Yeshiva into
their immoral secularizing army, that’s famous for
rampant licentiousness and debauchery, may require
us to escape its clutches by moving.

Vues Master’s Note: Wow where is your Emunah? The
    Land of Eretz Yisroel protects!

    TRUMP
    Dear Vues Master:
Do you think that the situation in Israel now will
improve if Trump wins? He has 0 coattails in DC and
the global stage. The old guard Republicans don’t
support him. Oct 7 could’ve still happened under
Trump. Trump still believes in a peace deal with
palestinians. A great deal of the trump maga base is
isolationist and some even support Arabs over Jews.
But Harris supporters are more openly hostile to Israel.
    TT
Vues Master’s Note: This is nuts you would rather be
a vadai Jewish Hater than a safek?!

    LEADERSHIP
    Dear Vues Master:
The English phrase is “caught between a rock and a hard
place”. The DINOs and RINOs both support Israel, as
well as support a strong pro-democracy foreign policy.
But the current situation is that the Democrats have
gone WOKE and the Republicans have gone MAGA,
and neither of them support a policy that would result
in the United States actively opposing the alliance
of Russia, China and Iran. Israel’s best chance for
survival is that either: 1) one of the parties will lose
so badly that their former leadership (today’s DINOs
and RINOs) can retake control; 2) a third party will
be formed by the DINOs and RINOs, with a foreign
policy reflecting the mid-20th century “Cold War” bi-

partisan consensus. My suggestion is that
Israel should be pursuing a policy of being
    self-reliant, which they clearly aren’t
    doing. JY
Vues Master’s Note: You forgot there is
one thing you left out of the equation that
is Hashem. He will take care of it!

    SUPPORT TRUMP
    Dear Vues Master:
Trump was the most pro Israel president in
the history of the United States. Democrats
have always taken the Palestinians’ sides
and whatever the problem, always blamed
    Israel. After every reported terrorist
event, the United States response under
    Democrat presidents was always that
Israel is to blame and has to give up more.
It was exactly the opposite under Trump.
Democrat president Israel is not a terrorist.
Under Trump, they were encouraged to
kill as many terrorists as they could. No
effort was ever made to acknowledge
Jerusalem as the Jewish capital and other
    Democrats expected that Jerusalem would
be divided and offered to the Muslims. It
was the exact opposite under Trump. In
fact, Trump moved the American Embassy
to Jerusalem. Trump invested a lot of
    resources in engineering peace between
Israel and its neighbors. Under Democratic
presidents support for Israel was always
reluctant and the nations Expected no
benefit from making peace with Israel.
When Israel was at war and Obama was
    president, he instructed the government
not to release munitions necessary for
Israel to continue the fight and Israel was
running out of magicians. Joe Biden did
the same thing. It would be inconceivable
for Trump to do the same. The Harris
campaign said cutting off supplies to
Israel is a possibility in her administration.
Obama not only did nothing to hinder Iran
    from funding terrorism and performing
terrorist attacks, but encouraged them to
do so and funded them to do so. Trump cut
the legs off of Iran and Iran was in great
danger from Trump’s policies. For anyone
who cares about Israel there really is no
debate as to who to support. If you support
Israel, you support Trump. If you support
Harris, you do not support Israel. It is as
    simple as that.

    MESSAGE!
    Dear Vues Master:
With today being the second time in the
span of just a little more then a month
since former president Donald Trump first
    assassination. Does anyone even know
or remember what the shocking message
    DIRECTLY FROM HASHEM was of
    the first attempted assassination? THE
    SHOCKING MESSAGE On July 13th
2024, former president Donald J. Trump
was speaking at a presidential campaign
for the upcoming election of his second
presidential campaign and then while he
was still speaking he was shot in the ear
from the roof of another building across
the campaign and everyone is asking
what is the message DIRECTLY FROM
HASHEM and why would Hashem have
him shot in the ear versus anywhere else in
his entire body that could’ve killed him?
And Then a week later a major tragedy hit
klal yisroel, 2 innocent people driving in
the Catskill mountain went over the road
    and we’re immediately niftar Rachmana
litzlan leaving wives and large families of
orphans without a father and everyone is
asking what is the message from Hashem?
The shocking message is that First our
loving father and King of Kings Hashem
ruler of the entire world, sends wake up
calls through other nations to bring us to
Teshuva but if that Chas VShalom doesn’t
work and we don’t LISTEN WITH OUR
EARS and openly accept Hashem’s wake
up call for serious Teshuva and Achdus
then we leave Hashem no choice but to
Chas VShalom hit his loving nation klal
yisroel directly with non stop horrific
tragedies as we have all seen just in
the last few months alone. ARE WE
    GOING TO CONTINUE LIVING IN
DENIAL? and then ask ourselves why
there’s so much tzaros in Klal yisroel?
When it could’ve all been avoided if we
only accepted Hashem’s wake up call for
serious Teshuva and Achdus together as
one loving nation?. Do YOU know any
father in the entire world that likes to
hit and punish his child? Sometimes the
father has no choice, the kid won’t do his
homework or listen and go to sleep when

told. What do we call that? A potch of
LOVE, the parent has no choice and it’s
completely for the kids benefit of chinuch
and when he grows up if he remembers
the story he might even come back to his
parents and thank them when he now as
an adult knows it was completely out of
love and for his good. It pains Hashem
to see his loving children Klal yisroel
suffering but there’s no one else to blame
except ourselves when we all openly see
the horrific tragedies hitting klal yisroel
and Instead choose to continue living in
denial and doing nothing about it versus
waking up and showing Hashem that we
accept Hashem’s wake up call for serious
Teshuva, Kinnus and Taanis like we did
in the story of Purim and our lives were
saved because of it. May we all accept
Hashems wake up call for serious Teshuva
and Achdus together as one loving nation
so Hashem can send Mashiach already

    UMAN
    Dear Vues Master:
The governor of the region in Ukraine
where the city of Uman is situated
on Tuesday urged Jewish pilgrims to
avoid traveling there this year on Rosh
Hashanah due to the country’s ongoing
war with Russia. In his statement,
    Cherkasy Region head Igor Taburets
did not say that the pilgrims would be
    prevented from coming. Preparations
    are underway to accommodate those
who still intend to visit, with enhanced
    security measures and the establishment
    of an operational headquarters, he
    added. Ukrainian officials have issued
similar warnings since 2020, first due to
COVID-19 and later because of the war.
Moldovan officials last week said they
would not allow pilgrims to pass through
their country, whose Chisinau airport last
year had served as the main entry point to
Ukraine for about 20,000 pilgrims, mostly
from Israel. The Moldovan officials cited
financial expenditures on security and the
limited capacity of their facilities. Uman,
a city in central Ukraine, receives tens of

thousands of Jews each year, who travel
there to visit the tomb of Rabbi Nachman
of Breslov, an 18th-century luminary who
    founded the Breslov Hasidic movement.
    Commercial flights to Ukraine have
    been largely unavailable since Russia’s
invasion of Ukraine in 2022, complicating
the pilgrimage. This year, an alternative
route into Uman is being prepared through
    Romania. Ukrainian officials imposed an
entry ban on pilgrims in 2020 and 2021
due to the coronavirus pandemic. Israeli
    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and
    Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy
last month spoke about preparations for
the pilgrimage. The United States issued
a travel warning for Uman on Wednesday,
urging U.S. citizens not to visit the city
due to the tense security situation.

    DEFEATING HEZBOLLAH
    Dear Vues Master
Israel is unbelievable. The IDF is
    unbelievable. Hashem is unbelievable!!
    Hezbollah’s entire command and
    leadership has now officially been
eliminated. Nasrallah is now totally and
    completely isolated and humiliated! The
man who talked a big game for years has
now been put to shame. Hezbollah will
soon be a thing of the past.

    military week for Klal Yisrael.
    OPERATION WALKIE TALKIE
    Dear Vues Master
I’m still thinking about the beeper/walkie
talkie operation. Was it the most successful
military operation in history? Surely it
was the most effective and left the least
collateral damage of any operation. Was
there ever any military operation that was
    more successful? Hillel Fuld
Vues Master’s Note: I don’t know of any!

    KIBBUTZIM CROPS FEEDING
    GAZANS
    Dear Vues Master,

I recently learned that crops grown on
some of the kibbutzim that had been
attacked on October 7 are actually being
sent to Gaza. That means that they are
feeding some of the very people that
attacked them. My initial reaction on
learning this was outrage, but since
everything is from Hashem, I tried to find
the lesson in it. When I thought about it, I
saw that this situation is a stark example
of what Hashem does for us – no matter
how much we disobey or rebel against
Him, or even deny His very existence, He
still provides for us, sustains us and feeds
us. So the fact that kibbutzim in Israel are
literally feeding the people who attacked
them means that they are emulating
Hashem. Hopefully, Hashem will see this
and respond by continuing to sustain Klal
Yisroel even when we, challilah, do not
respond to Him as we should.

    QUOTES FROM A GADOL
    Dear Vues Master:
Rabbi Shraga Feivel Mendlowitz was the
founder of Torah U’Mesorah and became
principal of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas in
the year 1921 CE. His career in Yeshiva
Torah Vodaas lasted 25 years. He was
known as “the premier architect of Torah
in American history.” He left this world
in 1948 CE at the age of 62 years. The

quotes shown below are from his English-
    language biography.

QUOTE 1: In a conversation with
the Satmar Rav, shortly after his talk
on the U.N. declaration, Reb Shraga
    Feivel [Mendlowitz] was subjected to
the sharpest criticism for his “Zionist
leanings.” Later he told his family, “I could
have answered him [the Satmar Rav]
Chazal for Chazal, Midrash for Midrash,
but I did not want to incur his wrath, for
he is a great man and a tzaddik.” He added
with a twinkle, “And besides, he has a
    fiery temper”… SOURCE: Reb Shraga

QUOTE 2: Once full-scale war broke
out after the State of Israel declared its
existence on May 14, 1948 [CE] Reb
    Shraga Feivel’s [Mendlowitz] thoughts
were never far from Eretz Yisrael. A
group of students saw him outside
the Mesivta building one day, talking
excitedly with Rabbi Gedaliah Schorr and
    gesticulating rapidly with the newspaper
held in his hand. “If I were your age,” he
    [Rabbi Shraga Feivel Mendlowitz] told
the students, “I would take a gun and go
to Eretz Yisrael.” SOURCE: Reb Shraga

    QUOTE 3: After hearing a well-known
Rabbi give a fiery derashah against
the secular Jews in Eretz Yisrael, Reb
    Shraga Feivel [Mendlowitz] expressed
his displeasure with the tone of the
speech. “True, is it hard for us to reach

of Berditchev,” he said, “but we are
commanded to keep far away from hatred
of our fellow Jews.” SOURCE: Reb

building up our Holy Land. I only pray

    taunted Reb Shraga Feivel [Mendlowitz]

explained, there is a spark of kedushah
(holiness) – dos pintele Yid – which is his
    inheritance from the Avos [Patriarchs].
Every Jew is both an individual and as
part of the collective body of Israel. As
long as he does not sever his bonds to the
nation, that little spark is not extinguished,
no matter how numerous his sins. Divine
