    KIDDUSH HASHEM

    Dear Editor:

Today, when I was strolling down the streets, a delivery boy asked me for an address and I kindly answered him and showed him where to go. His language was hard to figure, but I saw that he was highly impressed of the kindness of a fellow Jew!!!

    Yehudis Rubinstein

Editor’s Note: That’s great! Keep up the good work!

    CLINTON OR TRUMP

    Dear Editor:

Trump has me very worried. He is a loose cannon. I am scared that he will be very anti-Jews. He just tweeted a picture of the yellow star. He is ruthless to those who stand in his way. He reminds me of a dictator. Jews should keep davening to Hashem. I don’t know which is worse; Clinton or Trump.

    Moshe Scwartz

Editor’s Note: The best person to take of this issue is Moshiach himself. Let’s daven that he come soon and we won’t have this problem anymore.

    TAKANOS

    Dear Editor:

There is a lot of discussion of lowering the costs for our community. Everyone has heard of the term “Takana Wedding.” I am wondering if somebody would start a “Takana Camp” that would cut costs of camping for our kids. The camp fees are astronomical because the camps have a lot of pressure to keep up with and outdo other camps in order to keep their enrollment up. I think this is an innovative idea. What if there was a camp that was “no frills” and would cost less. The children would know they are coming to enjoy the outdoors (free) in a less pressured environment. It would help a lot of financially strapped families meet their obligations.

    Chani M.

Editor’s Note: The problem with this idea is that everybody will still want to go to the expensive, fancier camps. Would your kids agree to go to the No Frills camp? I guess that’s the place to start.

    DO NOT FORGET

    Dear Editor:

I would like to remind all the youngsters out there that there was a Holocaust. Six million Jews dids. A great crusader on behalf of eternalizing the Holocaust just died. The world will miss Elie Wiesel greatly. Yehei Zichro Boruch.

    Sadie Finkelstein

Editor’s Note: Amen. Thank you for the reminder. Yizkireim Elokeinu L’Tovah.

    ANTI-SEMITISM

    Dear Editor:

Donald Trump put out this statement trying to cover up his anti-semitism.

“These false attacks by Hillary Clinton trying to link the Star of David with a basic star, often used by sheriffs who deal with criminals and criminal behavior, (showing an inscription that says “Crooked Hillary is the most corrupt candidate ever”) with anti-Semitism is ridiculous. Clinton, through her surrogates, is just trying to divert attention from the dishonest behavior of herself and her husband. The real questions are, why was Bill Clinton meeting secretly with the US Attorney General on her case and where are the 33,000 missing emails and all of the other information missing from her case – Why are there so many lies?”

It is amazing how this election is going to be fought in the sewer. The one who comes out least dirty will win. What a shame.

    Dov Shurkin

Editor’s Note: There is a Rashi that says, “Halacha biyadua she’Eisav sonei es Yaakov.” Some hide it better, others show it. But they really all come under the same category.

    FREE SPEECH

    Dear Editor:

I saw this quote. “Some people’s idea of free speech is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone else says anything back, that is an outrage.” -Sir Winston Churchill

I wonder if our presidential candidates can learn a thing or two from the previous politicians.

    Boruch Weiss

Editor’s Note: I’m outraged you can write such a letter! Just kidding.
